Migration FAQ

Is my migration to the Web3 wallet reversible?+
The new CMaker wallet is non-custodial, meaning once assets are bridged on-chain you control them entirely. Your legacy account stays accessible until migration completes, so you can verify everything before fully switching over.
Will CMaker ever ask for my recovery phrase?+
Never. Our support team will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys. Anyone requesting them is attempting fraud — report it to us immediately and do not share them.
Who pays the gas fees during migration?+
On-chain transfers require network gas fees paid from your wallet. CMaker shows a clear estimate before you confirm any transaction, and we cover protocol service fees for the first migration of each account.
What happens to my tokens that aren't supported on-chain?+
Any unsupported balances remain in your legacy account and can be withdrawn or converted separately. During migration we flag exactly which assets can be bridged and which need a manual step.
How long does the migration take?+
Most migrations finish in under 15 minutes. On-chain confirmation time depends on network congestion — you'll see live status for each transfer in the wallet.
